It’s 2009 so we thought it was time to do something big. Nitidus will be making a rare once-in-a-lifetime performance at this year’s A.R.E.A 9 festival in New Zealand, the land where it all began!
Here’s the low down from the A.R.E.A 9 Myspace:
A.R.E.A 9 Music Festival will be held Waitangi weekend (6-8 Feb) 2009. It will feature some of New Zealand’s top musicians and entertainment personalities, as well as featuring some of New Zealand’s favourite extreme sports. Here at A.R.E.A 9 we are proud kiwis and want to celebrate our great New Zealand lifestyle but also want to contribute to the preservation of one of New Zealand’s rarest birds, the Black Stilt. Held “somewhere” in the heart of the MacKenzie Country, South Canterbury A.R.E.A 9 is preparing to be a festival that kiwis will look forward to and embrace with extreme dedication. So watch this space for more info as we create an event not to live without.
Marki, Doctor K, Adam and PC will reunite on stage at 4:30am on Saturday 7th February 2009. We’re super excited and can’t wait to meet all our kiwi fans there.
Early bird tickets have already sold out, but tickets are still on sale for $200 plus booking fee. 48 hours of non-stop music at picturesque Lake Ohau, it’s certainly going to be a weekend to remember!

Nitidus will be playing at a sold out show this Saturday at the Ferntree Gully Hotel with Noiseworks and the Choirboys. For you lucky ticket holders, be sure to get there before 7:30, because we will be starting a little early to squeeze in a massive 12 song set! It will be a sonic feast of Nitidus classics, so don’t miss a moment!
The Nitidus rock show is back at full power in 2008 with two massive shows.
First up, the boys will join Daddy’s Little Girl and Creech to rock Musicland, an awesome venue in Fawkner that has one of the best stages in Melbourne! Be there on Saturday 23rd February for all the fun.
Then on Saturday 1st March, Nitidus open the show for Australian rock superstars Noiseworks (back together after 15 years) and the Choirboys! The show starts at 7:30pm at the Ferntree Gully Hotel. Tickets are on sale now.

This is the big one, the greatest rock and roll show of 2007! Nitidus will be joining the mighty Airbourne for the last show of their tour! Airbourne were nominated at this year’s ARIA Awards for best rock album and are currently on tour in the U.S.A. with their debut album Runnin’ Wild.
The rock extravaganza happens on Saturday 15th December at the 21st Century Club. Doors open 8pm, Nitidus hit the stage at 10pm, Airbourne at 11pm.
